Fire Management

Heli-Serv has extensive experience in wild fire management, being involved with the development of equipment used to fight wildfires over the years. All Heli-Serv pilots have completed Wildfire Awareness training which is recognised by the Australasian Fire Authorities Council.

Heli-Serv currently provides three Squirrel helicopters to the Department of Sustainability and Environment in Victoria, to be on standby during the summer season of fire fighting. Heli-Serv also supplies one Squirrel helicopter to NSW Parks dedicated for fire management.
