Aerial Survey
Heli-Serv provides aerial survey platforms for specialist companies and government organisations.
Heli-Serv helicopters are fitted with state of the art differential GPS technology and data logging technology used for:
- Navigation
- Track flight paths
- Pinpoint areas and measure lengths or areas with sub-metre accuracy
- Geographical mapping (ability to provide print outs of areas flown which an be superimposed over satellite maps)
Heli-Serv aerial surveying and spotting capabilities include:
- Mineral searching (including diamonds)
- Surveying fish stocks in the rivers of Victoria
- Forward looking infra red camera for the detection of hot spots near the edge of fire lines to help blackout fire edges
