Fire Management
Heli-Serv has extensive experience in wild fire management and has been involved with the development of equipment used to fight wildfires. All Heli-Serv pilots have completed a Basic Wildfire Awareness course which is recognised by the Australasian Fire Authorities Council.
Agriculture
Heli-Serv has the expertise to carry out surveys for seed stocks within forested areas, regeneration burns of logged areas and then carry out the seeding of the logged and burnt sites. Services include aerial seeding, drip torch, spraying, frost control and surveying.
Mining Suppport
Heli-Serv pilots have extensive experience with mining and exploration and provide a range of services including: Seismic and gravity surveys, Airborne geographical surveys, sampling, site clearances and dust suppression, drill shifting and equipment relocation.
Media
Heli-Serv specialises in both still and motion aerial photography for film, TV and news industries. Our operations include documentaries, promotional videos, commercials and coverage of sporting events from a variety of helicopters.
Aerial Crane
Heli-Serv can shift up to 750 kilos in one helicopter movement, providing minimal impact on the ground and environment. Aerial crane services are faster, cheaper and provide a higher degree of flexibility than traditional ground cranes.
Aerial Survey
Heli-Serv provides aerial survey platforms for specialist companies and government organisations. Our helicopters are fitted with state of the art differential GPS and data logging technology.
Powerline Inspection
Heli-Serv utilizes the versatility of the helicopter to conduct power line patrol operations on various power line assets. Heli-Serv helicopters can transfer crews, sling poles and/or equipment to inaccessible areas.
